Synopsis:

Sixty years after the collapse of Nazism, the old folk of the village of Kakolyri talk, trying to piece together the tragic history of their village back in May of ’44. Sixty years on, nobody knows the whole story. Each person just knows what he or she lived through.The German atrocities come alive through the bluntness of their descriptions.They talk about themassacre, the looting, about what the guerrillas, the Germans and their the collaborators did. They talk about the CivilWar. About the cold-blooded execution of men and boys... But Kakolyri was just one of dozens of places where a holocaust took place in Greece. And it could have happened anywhere; in Srebrenica, Baghdad, Africa. Anywhere man kills his fellow man.
