Bülent Emin Yarar was born on January 1, 1961 in Ankara, Turkey. In his childhood, he often went to theaters with his family. He attended the State Conservatory of Mimar Sinan University. He then started performing as a figure artist on stage when he studied opera. He had the leading role in the play “İstanbul Efendisi”. He continued to study in the Theater Department at his alma mater and graduated in 1989. In the same year Yarar began working at the Diyarbakır State Theatre. From 1994 to 1995, he transferred to the Istanbul State Theatre. He directed “Ada” and “Getto” at the Theatre Ti as well. In 1998 he took leading roles on stage in such plays as “Balkon” (1998), which was produced by Theater Studio, and “Cyrano de Bergerac” (1999). Yarar also performed a leading role with Haluk Bilginer and Şenay Gürler in “Ermişler or Günahkarlar” at the Oyun Atölyesi. Yarar directed “Mem ile Zin” with Işıl Kasapoğlu at the Semaver Kumpanya. Yarar performed leading roles in “Çayhane ve Müfettiş” at the Istanbul State Theatre and “Oyun Sonu” at the Dostlar Theatre. He also read poems in the “Iş Sanat Poem Concerts”, directed by Atilla Birkiye. He is married to Bennu Yildirimlar.
