Goran Paskaljevic was born on April 22, 1947 in Belgrade, Serbia, Yugoslavia. He graduated from the well-known Film Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU). He has made 30 documentaries and 16 feature films, shown and acclaimed at the most prestigious international film festivals (Cannes, Berlin, Venice, Toronto and San Sebastian…). He is a director, producer and writer, known for Cabaret Balkan (1998), Midwinter Night's Dream (2004) and How Harry Became a Tree (2001).
