Rok Biček was born on October 17, 1985 in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. Graduated at the UL AGRFT. Entered the world of cinema as a prominent student at Janez Lapajne's Poetika, an occasional academy for researching the art of film directing. He has won awards at various festivals for his distinctive auteur approach to his student films as well as to his feature debut Class Enemy, which premiered at the 28th Venice International Film Critics’ Week and qualified as a finalist for the 2014 Lux Prize.
