Adrian Porumboiu was born on September 27, 1950 in Buzau, Romania. He is a Romanian referee, federal observer, retired footballer, economist, businessman, former FC Vaslui financier. As a footballer he played in the youth team of FC Arges Pitesti and Youth and the Future Vaslui great team. Quit football since 1976 and embraces his career, first in 1980 in Division C to Division B in 1982, and in 1984 referee in Division A. In 1986 becomes FIFA international referee. As international referee led to two football games center on two European Championship final tournaments of juniors. His son is a director and writer Corneliu Porumboiu.
