Hristo Genkov was born on the 22nd of October 1980. He has graduated from the Bulgarian National High School of Polygraphy and Photography and the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts “Kr. Sarafov” in Film and Television Cinematography. He has worked as a steadicam and camera operator on over 40 American, French and Bulgarian film productions. Amongst them are “The Expendables 2” (2012), “Conan the Barbarian” (2011), “Thick as Thieves” (2009), “Plebs” (TV Series, 2013 – 2014), “The Fourth Kind” (2009), “Mission London” (2010), etc. Hristo Genkov is director of photography of the TV series “Znakat na Balgarina” (2014) and the feature films “Levski” (2015) and “Inches from the Ground” (2016).
