Drita Pelinku was an Albanian film and stage actress, academic and director. Pelingu was born on 3 December 1926 in Vlorë. She was awarded the title of Merited Artist of Albania. She died following a long illness on 2 October 2013, aged 86, in Tirana, Albania.
