Maxim Genchev is a Bulgarian film director, writer and actor. He’s born on the 28th of September 1954 in Bulgaria. Maxim graduated on the Bulgarian Film and Theater Academy “Kr. Sarafov” (NATFIZ) in 1980 under professor K. Azarian. He worked 20 years in major Bulgarian theaters. Maxim participated in over 30 international and national film productions and TV serials as an actor. In 2007 he started his career as a film director and writer – “Geratzite” (2008, feature), “On the sidewalk throne” (2010, documentary), “Intruder” (2010, feature), “Levski” (2015, feature), “Inches from the Ground” (2016, feature).
