Takis Spetsiotis was born in Pireus in 1954, studied film and English language, worked as a director and teacher. He has also made the features On The Cosy Side (1981) and In The Light of The Day (tele film 1986 ), as well as the short films Lisa And The Other One (1976 ) and Kalloni (1977 ) , known as La Belle. He is also a writer having published the Books Ave Napoleon (1999), Identity Card (2003), Taktsis - I am not ashamed (1996, second edition 2006 ), Triumvirates and Co (2007 ) The other Bed ( 2009) and Secretary to a street boy (2009).
