Iva Tkalec (1982) has a degree in Geology – Geography of Zagreb Faculty of Science. She has been working in production since 2006: as a casting manager in production company Komakino, where she also worked on international productions for: Lucasfilm, 20th Century Fox Television, ABC, Pro7. Later she became a head of Documentary Development. From 2011 worked in production company Fade in, Zagreb as a producer of Direkt - documentary series (for Croati an National Television – HRT) and is still working on international co-productions and national production. In 2014 she launched Brussels based company Visible Film together with Thierry Detaille, handling pre-sales. Visible Film choices aim at making visible realities confronting media coverage with daring, cutting edge, and driven subjects and characters.
