Tilbe Saran was born in Istanbul. She graduated from the Theatre Department at Istanbul Municipal Conservatory and the Department of Art History at Istanbul University. Following appearances on stage at Kenter Theatre during her school years, Saran performed her first starring role as Barbara in the play "Run For Your Wife" at Dormen Theatre in 1986. For the first time she received an award for her performance.
