After completing studies in Madrid, Daniel Mitulescu initially worked for Spanish broadcaster Antena 3 before becoming a production assistant on his brother Catalin's short TRAFFIC. Catalin's feature debut The Way I Spent the End of the World (2006) , which premiered in Un Certain Regard in 2006, was Daniel's first feature film as producer. He followed this with Florin Serban's Silver Bear-winning If I Want to Whistle, I Whistle (2010) and his brother's second feature Loverboy (2011). Daniel runs the distribution company Metropolis Film which has released Strada Film's productions and also produces commercials.
