Romanian Actress Judith State among European Shooting Stars 2023

European Shooting Stars, the prestigious program within the Berlin International Festival, which brings together 10 European talents every year, will also include in 2023 the Romanian actress Judith State, the protagonist of the latest film made by Cristian Mungiu - R.M.N. selected in the competition official at Cannes 2022. The event will take place within the 73rd Berlinale from 17 to 20 February 2023.

Judith State was also present at the Berlinale in 2019 with the film Monsters., directed by Marius Olteanu.

The European Shooting Stars 2023 were selected from a pool of 27 nominees by an international jury composed of Polish director Jan Komasa, Dutch casting director Rebecca van Unen, Norwegian producer Maria Ekerhovd, Variety’s international features editor Leo Barraclough from the UK, and former Spanish Shooting Star Veronica Echegui.
