The Croatian Audiovisual Heart introduced that Ivan Bakrač’s debut work “After Winter”, co-produced by Montenegro, Serbia, Croatia and France, has been nominated for the Montenegrin Oscar Worldwide Characteristic Movie class.
The Croatian co-producer is Damir Terešak (Maxima movie).
“After the Winter” tells the story of 5 childhood associates of their twenties who now reside in numerous elements of the previous Yugoslavia. Regardless of the gap, they nonetheless attempt to take care of friendship. They oppose the patriarchal legacy and ignore the implications of conflict and financial poverty.
The movie had its world premiere within the East-West competitors program of the Karlovy Fluctuate Worldwide Movie Pageant in August this yr, and was screened on the Cottbus Movie Pageant in Germany in early November.

The Oscar nominations shall be introduced on February 8, 2022, and the award ceremony shall be held on March 27.
