Synopsis:

An unexpectedly late start to her morning throws all of Marija’s plans for her birthday into disarray… When her daughter calls to the apartment, she brings a surprise present – a puppy looking for a new home. This in turn triggers tension, and ultimately results in a fight between Marija and her husband. A fight that is perhaps unplanned; but is not unexpected, because even happy families have an expiry date… Happy birthday Marija!
