Copper mines in Bor and Majdanpek, once the biggest in Europe, have become its "black hole". While there were rich ore and money they were filling up the National Bank vaults and helping the whole country. Now that the copper content in the ore has fallen below minimum everybody is turning their back. The mines have been left as memories... Bor and Majdanpek have the fate similar to the saying, "Poverty does not hurt one who has not been rich before".
