Halima’s Path tells the tragic but inspiringstory of a grieving, yet strong-willed Muslimwoman Halima, who tries, without success,to find the remains of her son who was killedin the Bosnian War and buried in one of themany mass graves. She realizes that she musttrack down her estranged niece, who we findcarries a mysterious connection to him. Afterfinding her, Halima discovers a horrifying factfrom her worst nightmares. With this discovery,the spiral of tragic events from the past wouldcontinue in the present, disrupting once againthe troubled lives of the characters.
