Synopsis:

The pressure of the military junta pushes the dregs of society to the surface: a pickpocket, a small-time crook, taking advantage of the social solidarity and common frustration against the regime of the colonels, manages to worm his way among the resistance groups and climb the social ladder. With the fall of the junta, however, his supports fall too; solidarity and camaraderie give way to individual efforts for survival. Life returns to its pre-junta pace. People go back to their "places". But what about him? Go back where? Το the streets? And the interval of social recognition? His fall is much swifter than his rise.
