Rudolphe Archibald Reiss. A giant of world criminology and founder of contemporary forensics is remembered as a friend of Serbs in the Great War. He reported on crimes committed by Austro-Hungarian and Bulgarian occupiers against Serbian civilians and witnessed to the world of the heroism of the Serbian Army. In the post-war political reality he discovered the flaws of Serbia's elite. With his everlasting love of Serbs he left a famous testament which echoes in unrelenting strength to this day. The film aims to explore the personality, life and work of Dr. Rudolphe Archibald Reiss, following his path from the faculty of criminology at Lausanne University, his arrival in Serbia on the eve of The Great War in 1914, his investigation of the war crimes, then, his attachment to Serbian people, his post-war activities and finally his conflict and disappointment with the elite. Forensics experts, historians and sociologists speak in the film.
